  • ·Pro is $9/month — cancel anytime, no contracts.
  • ·7-day money-back guarantee on your first Pro purchase. Email us, get refunded.

The full version is below. Skip ahead with the table of contents.

Our fair-deal pledge

Six promises on top of what the law requires.

  • No surprise charges. Free stays free. Pro price changes need 30 days' notice and you can cancel before they apply.
  • No lock-in. Cancel Pro any time, in one click — no exit fees, no cancellation calls.
  • 7-day refund on your first Pro purchase, no questions asked. Reply to your receipt to claim.
  • Your content is yours. We claim no ownership over what you publish — only a license to display it on your behalf.
  • Suspensions come with a warning wherever the law allows — except for clear illegal content or active abuse.
  • If we change something material, we email you 14 days in advance. Silent ToS updates are a dark pattern — we don't do that.

Common questions — straight answers

The real concerns we hear before someone signs up. Real answers, no spin.

"Is the free plan actually free, or is it a trial?"
Actually free. No credit card to sign up. No expiry. We'll never silently start charging you. If we ever change the free plan, the change applies only to new accounts.
"How do I get a refund if Pro isn't for me?"
Reply to your purchase receipt within 7 days, or email support@murls.co. We refund the full amount back to your card — usually within 2 business days.
"If I cancel Pro, do I lose my page?"
No. Your page stays live on the Free plan. You only lose Pro features (per-link analytics, branding removal, custom background). All your links, content, and visitors stay.
"Can you suspend my account without telling me?"
We will always send a warning email first, unless your content is clearly illegal (e.g., active phishing or court-ordered takedown). You always get a chance to reply and fix the issue.
"Do you claim ownership of the photos and content I upload?"
No. Your content stays 100% yours. We only get a narrow licence to display it on your behalf — it ends the moment you delete the content or your account.
"What does 'beta' mean for me as an early user?"
Until we declare general availability, expect some rough edges and occasional changes. In exchange, the first 100 businesses get Pro free for 3 months. We'll never use "beta" as an excuse for losing your data.
"What if someone publishes a murls page that copies my brand?"
Email support@murls.co with proof you own the brand (trademark, prior use). We act on legitimate takedowns within 5 business days. See section 14 for copyright issues.
"Do these terms cover my customers visiting my murls page?"
Partially. Your customers don't need to agree to these terms to view your page. You're still responsible for ensuring the page complies with the rules (no scams, no illegal content, etc.).

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using murls.co (the "Service") or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

If you're using murls on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Who we are

murls ("murls", "we", "us") is a link-in-bio service for businesses, built and operated by Ahsan Haroon, an independent founder with 12 years of experience building for the web. murls is the trading name of the Service available at murls.co.

3. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share them.
  • One person or business per account. If you operate multiple brands, create separate accounts for each.
  • You must be at least 13 years old. For a business account, the person creating it must have authority to bind the business.
  • You agree to provide accurate information at signup and keep it up to date.
  • You're responsible for everything done under your account. Notify us at support@murls.co immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use murls only for lawful purposes that respect other people. Specifically:

4.1 You can

  • Publish links to your menu, location, WhatsApp, social media, booking pages, reviews
  • Share business information (name, hours, contact)
  • Upload your own images and brand assets

4.2 You cannot

  • Publish illegal content, hate speech, harassment, doxxing, or threats of violence
  • Publish sexually explicit material, content depicting minors in a sexualised manner, or anything not suitable for general audiences
  • Publish misleading content, phishing, scams, malware, or anything intended to defraud
  • Publish gambling, betting, or lottery content (including casino or card-game apps), or offer regulated goods such as drugs, weapons, or counterfeit items
  • Publish content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property
  • Use the Service for spam, click-farms, fake-engagement schemes, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or attempt to disrupt our systems
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited messages or to evade platform bans on other services
  • Impersonate another business or individual without authorisation

4.3 Enforcement

We can remove any content that violates these rules. Where the content is clearly illegal or actively causing harm (e.g., active phishing), we may act without notice. For everything else, we will email you a warning and give you the chance to fix the issue.

5. Your content & licence to us

You own your content. We claim no ownership over anything you publish on murls — your links, text, images, logos, or any other content ("Your Content").

To run the Service, we need a narrow licence from you. By publishing Your Content on murls, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content for the sole purpose of operating the Service. This licence ends automatically when you delete Your Content or your account (subject to backup retention described in our Privacy Policy).

You confirm that you have the right to publish Your Content and that Your Content does not violate any law or third-party right.

6. Our intellectual property

The murls name, logo, brand assets, website design, code, and product features are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission, except for:

  • Linking to murls.co
  • Using our public press/brand assets where we make them available with attribution
  • Fair use under applicable law (e.g., journalism, review, parody)

You may not pretend your service is murls or use our brand in a way that misleads users.

7. Pricing & payment

  • Free plan: Free, forever. No card required. Includes the features listed on our pricing page.
  • Pro plan: $9 USD per month, billed monthly, or $7 USD per month if billed annually (paid upfront).
  • Auto-renewal: Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel any time from your account settings before the next renewal date.
  • Price changes:If we change Pro pricing for existing subscribers, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies. You can cancel before then with no further charge.
  • Taxes:Prices are exclusive of any sales tax, VAT, or withholding tax that may apply in your jurisdiction. You're responsible for these where applicable.
  • Payment processor:Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record. By paying, you also agree to Paddle's terms. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Failed payments:If a payment fails, we'll retry over 7 days and email you. If we can't collect, your account downgrades to Free — your page stays live, you just lose Pro features.

8. Refund policy

  • First Pro purchase: 7-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Email support@murls.cowithin 7 days and we'll refund the full amount.
  • Subsequent renewals:We don't refund partial months. Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged.
  • Annual plans:If you cancel within the first 30 days, we'll refund the unused portion pro-rata. After 30 days, no refunds.
  • Exceptional refunds:If we have a major outage or fail to deliver a critical feature you paid for, contact us. We'll do the right thing.

Full details, including how Paddle processes payments and issues refunds, are in our Refund Policy.

9. Service availability & beta

We aim for 99.9% uptime. Occasional planned maintenance is unavoidable; we'll announce major maintenance windows in advance. Unplanned outages get resolved as fast as possible — typically same-day.

Beta status:As of the "last updated" date at the top, murls is in pre-launch / early-access. That means:

  • Some features may change, be added, or be removed during the beta period.
  • You may encounter bugs. Please report them to support@murls.co.
  • Early users receive launch benefits (e.g., first 100 businesses get Pro free for 3 months).
  • Beta status is not a licence for us to lose your data — backups and the deletion timelines in our Privacy Policy apply throughout.

We'll publicly announce when we exit beta. These Terms continue to apply at that point.

10. Account termination

10.1 By you

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@murls.co. Deletion timelines and data handling are described in our Privacy Policy.

10.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with notice where reasonable. For clear-cut violations (illegal content, active fraud) we can act immediately. For other issues we'll email you first and give you the chance to remedy it.

10.3 What survives termination

Sections 5 (Your Content licence — only the parts about already-published content during the licence period), 6 (Our IP), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Liability), 13 (Indemnification), 19 (Notices), and 20 (Governing law) survive termination.

11. Disclaimers & warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
  • The information on your murls page will reach every customer who tries to view it.
  • The Service will meet every specific business requirement you might have.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those, our disclaimer applies only to the extent the law permits.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill, loss of business, or loss of data — even if we were advised of the possibility.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim under these Terms is capped at the greater of (a) USD 100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
  • This cap does not apply where the law prohibits limiting liability (e.g., for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless murls (and Ahsan Haroon as operator) against any claim, loss, damage, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your content (anything you publish on your murls page).
  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
  • Your infringement of any third party's rights (intellectual property, privacy, defamation, etc.).

We'll let you know promptly if any such claim arises and you'll have the right to control the defence (with our reasonable cooperation). You may not settle any claim in a way that imposes obligations on us without our written consent.

14. Copyright takedown

If you believe content on a murls page infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@murls.co with:

  • Your name, address, and contact info (and the rights holder's, if different).
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  • The exact URL of the murls page where the alleged infringement is.
  • A statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and (under penalty of perjury where applicable) that you're authorised to act for the rights holder.
  • Your signature (digital or physical).

We typically act on valid notices within 5 business days. We will notify the affected user, who has the right to submit a counter-notice. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

16. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, government action, internet or power outages, cyberattacks targeting our hosting providers, or pandemic-related disruption. We'll keep you informed where possible and resume normal service as soon as we can.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service grows or as the law changes. For minor edits (typos, clarifications), we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For anything material — like changing pricing for existing subscribers, adding a new restriction, or limiting your rights — we will email every account holder at least 14 days before the change applies.

Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account and stop using the Service before the effective date.

18. Severability & entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is held to be unenforceable by a court, the rest stays in full effect. The unenforceable part will be interpreted to come as close as possible to the original intent.

These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and any other written agreement we sign with you) make up the entire agreement between you and murls regarding the Service. They replace any prior agreements or understandings.

Our failure to enforce a right or provision at any time isn't a waiver of that right or provision in the future.

19. Notices

We'll send any required notice to the email address linked to your account. It's your responsibility to keep that address current — you can update it in your account settings.

You can send legal notices to us by email at support@murls.co with the subject line "Legal Notice". Notices are deemed received on the next business day after sending.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account to anyone else without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — with at least 30 days' advance notice to you.

20. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Before filing any lawsuit, you agree to first contact us at support@murls.co and attempt to resolve the dispute informally — we usually can. If that fails, any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Karachi, Pakistan. You and we both consent to that jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in any competent court.
