Add your link to your WhatsApp Business profile

Put your link in the website or address field of your business profile. Most conversations with a business start in chat, so this is the one place customers are guaranteed to look.

How to add it

1. Open your business profile settings
2. Find the website or address field
3. Paste your full address, including the https part
4. Save, then open your own profile as a customer would and tap it

What changes

Someone who opens your chat can now see your hours, your location and your prices without asking. That removes the most common back and forth before it starts.

Use it in replies too

The field is passive. The active version is sending the link when someone asks. Instead of typing your address for the eleventh time, send one link that has the address, the hours and everything else on it.

A note on your away message

If you use an away or greeting message, put the link in it. Someone who messages after hours gets an answer straight away instead of waiting until morning.

Keep the number on the page

Make sure your page has a chat button back to you. People arrive from all sorts of places, and the page should always offer a way to reach you.
