Whether you run a business, a practice, or a team, you already know the drill. People find you on Instagram, a card, or a search. They tap your link. And then they land on… one link. To one thing.
You wanted to send them to your menu, your location on Google Maps, your WhatsApp for ordering, your booking page, your latest reviews on delivery apps. Instead, they get a single URL — and you're back to typing "menu pls" in DMs all day.
Existing link-in-bio tools were built around a different customer: content creators with link drops and merch, not a salon owner trying to take more bookings, or a cafe trying to share its menu. Many also charge up to $24/month for the polished tiers, and their free plans show ads to your customers before they reach your number.
That's the problem murls fixes. One link for businesses, professionals and teams, with the things you actually need: WhatsApp, location, hours, bookings and one-tap save-contact, on a free plan that stays respectable.
Why now
Our home market crossed 120 million smartphone users in 2025. WhatsApp is no longer a chat app — it's the de-facto business channel for everything from restaurants to dental clinics. Instagram is where customers find new businesses; WhatsApp is how they buy.
And it is not one market's story. In much of the world, commerce is mobile-first and WhatsApp-first, while most existing tools were built for an audience that does not shop this way.
The opening is wide. Businesses, professionals and teams need one link designed for this reality. Nobody has built it for them.

Free has to mean free
Most link-in-bio tools dangle a free tier, then paywall basic features like custom themes or removing branding. We took those out of paywalls. Free stays free, forever.

Most link-in-bio tools focus on content creators: link drops, donations, music embeds. murls focuses on businesses, professionals and teams (a corner shop, a clinic, a consultant, a sales team) so the things they need, like contact, location, WhatsApp and bookings, come first, not last.

Founder · 12 years building for the web, from freelancing to enterprise
I started out freelancing, and across almost 12 years I have built a lot of the web: from high-profile events to enterprise portals and ecommerce brands big and small.
Along the way I kept seeing the same pattern. Companies, even large ones, would ask for another technical feature, and another, while nobody asked the questions that matter more: is this actually easier for the customer, and does it keep us ahead. Teams piled on features until the site slowed to a crawl, then wondered why people left. And when sales dipped, the reflex was to blame the website or the ads, without looking at the whole journey.
Here is what I learned. People do not choose you on price alone, and they do not choose you on features alone. They choose value: the right quality at a fair price, delivered fast. If someone sells the same thing for less, you do not win by charging more for the same experience, you win by making the whole journey better and quicker. And speed is not a luxury. A page that opens instantly and gets someone what they came for will earn more than a heavier, cleverer one every time.
murls is that lesson turned into a product. It is deliberately fast, it puts the customer first, and it refuses to bloat. Every feature has to earn its place without slowing your page down. I design and build it myself and I talk to every early user personally, so decisions are quick, feedback reaches the person who can act on it, and quality is never left to someone else.
