Before you sign up
Is murls right for you?
murls is one page that holds everything a customer needs to reach you: your links, contact, location and hours, at murls.co/yourname. It is free to start and takes about a minute. It is not a website, it is not a shop, and it will never tell you who visited you.
Most pages on this site explain what murls does. This one is the opposite. If murls is wrong for you, we would rather you knew now than after an afternoon of setting it up.
What murls does not do
These are facts about the product as it is today, not gaps waiting to be filled.
It is not a website builder
murls gives you one page. There are no extra pages, no navigation menu, no site structure. If you need an About page, a Services page and a blog that link to each other, you want a website, and murls is not one.
Your page lives at murls.co/yourname
There is no custom domain. You cannot point yourbusiness.com at your murls page today. If having your own domain on the address bar is the point of the exercise, this is the wrong tool for now.
It does not take payments
There is no checkout, no cart, no product catalogue and no payment processing for your customers. You can link out to wherever you already sell, and that link opens in their browser as normal. Money never passes through murls.
It will not tell you who visited
You get counts: page views, link taps, contact saves, QR scans. You do not get individual visitors, sessions, profiles, or anything that identifies a person. That is not a feature we have not built yet. It is the design.
You cannot add your own tracking scripts
No advertising pixel, no analytics tag, no chat widget, no third-party script of any kind can be added to a published murls page. If your marketing depends on retargeting the people who open your link, murls will break that, on purpose.
It does not send email or run automations
No newsletters, no broadcasts, no drip sequences, no auto-replies. A WhatsApp button opens a chat with you. It does not answer for you, and there is no bot behind it.
One page per account on Free, Basic and Pro
Those plans hold a single page each. Running pages for several different businesses from one login needs the Agency plan, which holds 25.
There is no mobile app
murls is a web page. You edit it in a browser, and your customers open it in a browser. Nobody has to install anything, and there is nothing to download from an app store.
Things murls will never do
The list above is where the product is. This list is where it is going to stay.
- Put advertising on your page
- Sell or share your data, or your visitors' data
- Add third-party trackers to a published page
- Show another business's branding on your page
- Take your page down because you stopped paying
Things worth knowing first
The AI writes a first draft, not a finished page
Type your business name and it fills in what it can find, picks your buttons and writes a tagline. It can be wrong, and it can find nothing at all if your business is thin on the public web. Everything it writes is editable before you publish, and you should read it before you do.
The free plan has a link limit
Free holds up to 10 links. That is enough for most businesses, and if it is not, the paid plans remove the cap. Nothing you have already published stops working when you hit it.
Your page is public by default
That is the point of it, but it is worth saying plainly: anything you put on the page can be read by anyone with the link, and by search engines unless you turn indexing off.
Your email has to be confirmed before search engines see your page
Unconfirmed accounts stay out of search results. It is an anti-spam measure and it is not optional, so check your spam folder if the confirmation does not arrive.
So who is it for?
Look elsewhere if
- You need a full website with several pages and a blog
- You need customers to pay you on the page itself
- You need to retarget or identify the people who visit
- You need your own domain on the address bar
- You need SSO, audit logs or a signed uptime agreement
It fits if
- Most of your customers arrive from a bio link, a chat or a QR code
- People keep asking you for the same details and you keep pasting them
- You want to be findable in search without building a website
- You want customers to save your number in one tap
- You run pages for several businesses and want them in one place
What it costs
| Plan | Monthly | Pages | Links |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 1 | 10 |
| Basic | $9 | 1 | Unlimited |
| Pro | $19 | 1 | Unlimited |
| AgencyWaitlist | $79 | 25 | Unlimited |
The Free plan does not expire and does not ask for a card. If you stop paying for a paid plan, your page stays live and drops back to Free.
Still sounds like a fit?
Nothing above changes on the free plan, so the cheapest way to find out is to build the page and look at it.
